There are hundreds of lens flare packs out there. NONE of them are like these. I did the research and couldn’t find anything on the market that had the look and feel I wanted. I needed something more abstract, organic, neon, bold, and retro. Psychedelic adventure meets 80’s Sci-Fi! I pored over hundreds of different assets that just left me disappointed. So I built my own! This collection was made out of my personal NEED and it is one-of-a-kind. I am so excited to see how you use it!
HOW IS THIS collection DIFFERENT?
You don’t get these colors by just shooting light into a lens. I worked with high-powered ultraviolet LED lights and fluorescent assets to bounce, reflect, refract and diffuse neon light into abstract patterns. Most lens flare options out there will suggest using a tint effect to add color - “Fix it in post.” This adds a blanket tint to the whole asset. You can not reproduce the same effect as filming it practically - I have tried! To get those subtle variations between colors, reflections, and refractions, you MUST FILM IT THAT WAY. This is what makes this collection look so unique and sets it apart from anything else on the market.
NO COLOR, NO PROBLEM
Another great thing about all these assets having color baked in is that you can choose to use it or not. Simply desaturate for a neutral effect that can be used in any scenario. I have used the 06 REFLECTION category this way with awesome results! Remember that while you can always take color away, you can’t add it in post and get the same effect.
